菲律宾数字电视将采用日本技术标准ISDB-T 据菲律宾《星报》1月15日消息，菲国家通讯委员会表态支持菲律宾科技部采用日本ISDB-T标准规范菲律宾数字电视，理由是日本标准于欧洲DVB-T2标准相比不仅价格低，而且可以对海啸、台风和地震等自然灾害做出预警。此方案需上报菲总统府审核。获得批准后，菲律宾交通通信部等部门将对菲律宾数字电视相关大项目发放许可证。而日本方面已承诺在菲投资建设机顶盒生产厂。作为专业的ISDB-T生产厂家VCAN公司也已经提供样品在菲律宾当地测试了。(Philippines ISDB-T,菲律宾数字电视)
